The Show

MyPlant & Garden is a relatively new but fast growing trade show.  In 2015 the first edition welcomed 339 exhibitors and 8,500 buyers and covered an exhibition area of 25,000m².  In 2018 the number of exhibitors rose to 655 and visitors grew to 16,000.  The show expanded into a third hall, increasing the exhibition space to 45,000m².

The show sees buyers from all regions of Italy and from all sectors of the garden industry; retail, landscaping and nursery.  In addition to Italian trade visitors, for the February 2018 edition, the organisers coordinated 150 buyer delegations from 50 countries from across Europe, for example Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Switzerland, but also from further afield such as the USA, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Exhibitor Package

Gardenex is able to offer the package below to British firms:

  • A prime spot for the British pavilion in hall 12.  Space is limited; book quickly to secure!
  • A comprehensive British-themed pavilion and stand package, designed so that you can just turn up and display your products.  It includes walls, carpet, lighting, mains connection and a power point, fascia with name, table, chairs, shelves, counter and stand cleaning.
  • Help with freight, travel & accommodation and other logistics.
  • Government grants of £1,500 to help offset the cost of a stand are available for eligible UK firms.
  • The support at the show of an industry information stand, organised by Gardenex and manned by its experienced team.
  • Market information and exporting advice for Gardenex members.
  • A schedule of press releases before, during and after the show to publicise the goods and services of the British group participants.
  • A preview sent out to named buyers in advance of the show to generate advance publicity for the group.
  • Advice and information about how to prepare for, and how to maximise, your presence at the show.

DIT Funding

Gardenex has been successful in its application to the UK government’s Department for International Trade for funding for eligible UK exhibitors at MyPlant & Garden 2019.

A limited number of grants of £1,500 are available for SMEs under the TradeShow Access Programme.
