Gardex/Ifex, which runs concurrently with AgriWorld and Tool Japan, has over 42,000 visitors and in 2017 included 1,876 exhibitors from 29 countries. Gardex covers all aspects of gardening, landscaping and green roofing whilst Ifex covers flowers and horticulture.
The exhibition attracts a broad spectrum of buyers from home centres, garden centres, garden shops and florists to landscapers, online retailers and mail-order companies, along with importers/wholesalers servicing the retail and landscaping sectors. Buyers attend not only from Japan but also from a number of other Far Eastern markets and Australasia.
Products well received in Japan include: innovative, quality products with quality packaging, heritage items, environmentally-friendly and/or water-saving accessories, along with products that make the most of small urban spaces. If Japanese customers have shown interest in your displays at shows such as glee, spoga+gafa, Hampton Court or Chelsea then they are also likely to attract interest at Gardex/Ifex.
For more information about the show, please contact Charlie Parker at Gardenex and take a look at the Gardex and Ifex websites.
