Gardenex has built up a database of overseas
trade buyers of garden products which now numbers over 10,000
company records. Members can request database information by country and
company type. Company types include garden centres (and/or chains), DIY
chains, super/hypermarket chains, mail-order companies, importers/distributors,
wholesalers and agents. We can provide, for example, database reports
on importers in France or garden centre chains in the USA.
Database records include contact details with, in most cases, buyer names, along with company information, for example number of stores, geographical spread, customer base, type/quality of products handled, whether already importing from the UK etc. We provide database information both as a printed document and electronically as an Excel spreadsheet (contact details only) to enable members to create their own address labels. We make a small charge for this of 75p+VAT per company record. Many members take advantage of this service to promote their presence at an exhibition or when targeting a new market. For more
